Accommodation for model aircraft enthusiasts

The village of Laion at the beginning of the Val Gardena in South Tyrol is known to model pilots above all for the village of Tschöfas.

As the name suggests, the Platiederhof is a farm that has been run by the Bergmeister family for generations. It was originally located in the centre of Tschöfas, but was relocated in 2019 and now stands alone a few hundred metres from the village centre, in a completely unspoilt location surrounded by meadows. The farm has been newly built recently and was completed only two years ago. In addition to the farm and the family buildings, there are three modern holiday flats and three equally beautiful rooms.

Modellers come especially for the flying opportunities, of course, because the Platiederhof has a flying field located directly at the farm, at a sufficient distance from the Hatzishang. Thomas regularly mows the landing field. Basically, flying conditions here are similar to those on the well-known Hatzis hill.

The Platiederhof (farmhouse) is an insider tip for families. For children, a farm that also has extensive play facilities is always a show. And if dad is a model aircraft pilot, the holiday is perfect.
