The Platiederhof is located in Tschöfas, a small area with about 100 inhabitants, in the municipality of Laion , at the entrance of the Gardena Valley and in the area of the Valle Isarco.

Tschöfas is situated above Laion and at a sunny southern slope and it is an ideal starting point for extended walks through meadows and woods, and also for skiing and making excursions in the Gardena Valley and at the Alpe di Siusi – reachable in 15 minutes by car or bus.
